The MAED – Curriculum & Instruction Concentration is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills that they can use in practice in their respective professions in education, training, and development.
Tusculum College offers this online unique 12-month, 30-hour graduate education curriculum for K-12 classroom teachers. Students may begin this program at the beginning of either the Fall, Spring or Summer semesters.
This program has been designed with a strong focus on the effects of human physical, emotional and cognitive growth on planning and implementing developmentally sensitive educational pedagogy. Students completing this program will also have advanced analytical, critical thinking, and ethical decision making skills for improving curriculum and service delivery in learning environments.
Our Master of Arts in Education Curriculum and Instruction major offers concentrations in:
- Special Education: Interventionist K-8 and Comprehensive K-12 (dual endorsement that includes face-to-face coursework)
- Mathematics Education 6-12 with fully online coursework
